Tadaaaa – Christmas is here – it snuck up on me and popped up suddenly – as it always does!

Time on the ship these days has been very exciting, especially since the “Logos Hope” of Operation Mobilization has arrived yesterday and docked right next to us. Two ships of two different faith based Organizations coming together in the same port, two crews of over 400 people each and 60 nationalities united – both brought here by God’s calling and perfect timing.
The harbour was alive with cheers, music, people waving flags and arms on land and ship. When the Logos Hope and Africa Mercy exchanged greetings via their ship horns, it was a nostalgic moment that brought a shiver up my spine.
I am excited to meet the other crew (which are probably the only other people in the world that understand this vivid, crazy, fast-paced ship life) and learn more about what is on their heart.

I hope you all get to spend time with your loved ones, enjoy some good food and have time to ponder on the true meaning of the season. Have a happy Christmas, everyone!
